Interview of Anastasya Zelenova (Russia)

We stay in Russia with another interview, this time with Anastasya Zelenova :

1. For how long have you been in cosplay ? 

Since 2008.

2. Cosplay is a time consuming hobby. how long does it take to craft your costumes ?

It depends of the costume.

3. Any other hobby or passion besides cosplaying ?

Yes, of course. I like dancing, reading and travelling. 

4. What materials are you using for cosplay crafting, worbla ? Foam ? Can you talk about that a little bit ?

I am not a professionnal crafter. I use foam, but it will be really cool to try worbla. 

5. Do you have any FAVORITE cosplayer ?

I like many cosplayers : Ben Shamma, Jessica Nigri, Narga.

6. Did you hurt yourself while making a cosplay or in a convention ?

Lara Croft photoshoot is really dangerous all the time. 

7. Do you sell your old cosplays, or just keep it in a huge closet ?

50/50 !

8. Who teached you to craft your cosplays ? Your family ? By reading books or watching youtube tutorials ?

My friend Adele teached me a little bit. Now I try to watch tutorials and to try different materials. 

9. Which conventions are you going to this year ?

Igromir in Moscow, bit i hope that i will have invitation from different events abroad. 

10. What is your limit budget for a cosplay ?

It depends of different factors. 

11. Any future super secret cosplay project in mind ?

Horizon: Zero Down. 

12. What are you doing in "real" life for a living ?

Photo model.

13. You best experience from a convention ? And your worst ?

I always loved the various cosplay activities to meet cool people and also for the incredible atmosphere. I can not remember anything bad, usually it's always very positive.

14. Any advice for cosplay wannabees or beginners ?

Let criticism and complexity do not frighten you, Do not be afraid to try and go to reach your goals. Have an excellent mood to make cool impressions !

15. Do you have limits ? Some cosplays you will never make ?

The best way is to have no limits ! You must always do what you want.
